About Me

I’ve lived in Madison the past 30 years with my wife, raising 2 daughters.

I was with TDS Custom Construction the last 24 years. Previously, I worked for another construction company, tofu shop and as a roofer.

Throughout my years at TDS, I remodeled kitchens, bathrooms, attics and basements, performed door and window replacements, siding and exterior facade work, historic restoration, custom cabinet installs and many other related types of work.

I also did extensive project management. This involved organizing and managing the jobs with carpenters, subcontractors and clients, as well as estimating and sales work.

Because I have also extensively remodeled my own home, I have a clear understanding of what it is like to be on the inside of a project.

Being an affordable handyman with craftsman sensibilities and 25 years of experience in remodeling, estimating and project management, I am qualified to assess and develop solid and creative options for the work involved in a project.

I also have a solid understanding of house air sealing and performance issues.

I am a certified lead-safe remodeler and also a certified carpenter (CLC) with NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry).
